Flattering was just what Rabbit did, Alyss. Practically a part of his programming. Blame Peter.

When the man appeared so suddenly at their table, Rabbit's copper mouth opened to reply, but the stranger's politeness had the robot taken back briefly. Sir? Had he really just been called sir by a human? Not tin man or robot or hey you or just what he was usually used to in this city, being completely ignored?

Rabbit appeared confused for the briefest of moments, optics brightening and wide, nearly about to correct the man and tell him that, no, he wasn't a sir, he was a robot, what is wrong with you, but a quick look to Alyss seemed to make the connection in his head. That was just the way people acted here in this place. It was...different. Absolutely different, but not terrible. Rabbit had just been simply surprised at the lack of mention towards his nature.

But being Rabbit, he shook off the shock quickly, grinning wide, his posture straightening significantly, some smugly proud gleam in his expression. "We'd like a pitcher o' water for th' table." A beat. "Please."

His attention went to Alyss. "Whatcha' w-want, doll? My treat."
