All Alyss had expected was to have her usual meal of toast in the kitchen while everyone else was still in their rooms. Those few moments to herself as the sun climbed higher, before the birds still there were even active. This had been a very pleasent surprise.

The steam brought an amused sort of sound, a little scrunching of her nose, eyes opened to meet Rabbit's with her head tilted against the fingers on her cheek. She brushed a few fingertips along his neck, trailing the metal lightly.
