Rabbit & Alyss' Bedroom (of love)

Welcome to the room of organized chaos.
Alyss and Rabbit share one of the larger rooms in the Victorian-style Walter house - being the oldest son it is obviously the robot's right to take the second-best room in the house - on the second floor, right next to Peter's room.
The room itself never looks quite as nice as depicted in the picture because Rabbit is a slightly messy individual and Alyss doesn't mind his untidiness in the slightest. Which means there is no one to really clean it. Though most of their clothes make it to be neatly hung away in the closet, there will always be at least one or two various pairs of boots and gloves left laying around, a belt here or there, and the woman's collection of stuffed animals all over.
..And really, knowing them, that chandelier probably makes as an impromptu hanger at various points as well.
There is a nice window seat for Alyss to sit in and enjoy the sunshine on days with good weather or simply to listen to Rabbit yap on forever like he does, and Lil' Bunny's cardboard box bed is perched there usually too.
Both the robot and his lady can usually be found outside of their room, enjoying the family's company or simply out on the town, but they can be caught there in the mornings or late evenings generally, unless Rabbit is being a grump and sneaking off to hide elsewhere for a few hours or Alyss has disappeared from the grounds completely to do her own thing.
Current Pet Count: Mocha Road, Lil' Bunny, TomatoSoup, Macaroni, Cheese, BananaBread, TunaMelt, Captain QuackBeard, Fuzzybuttkins, and Bob.
Human Week
Only a few days back from the grave and already the 'bot could tell something was wrong in the city when he'd gone out with Alyss for their private celebration of his return, even more so than it had been before his death. Ever since the destruction of that boarding house (not his fault!), the city had appeared to have been going a bit haywire around them, the residents stranger than ever. There was only so much that Rabbit could ignore or brush off as nothing around him before he finally began to notice.
And it was starting to get a little freaky out there.
But it wasn't until he woke one morning, snuggled up in a nest of warm blankets and sheets with Alyss, his mismatched eyes blinking awake, fingers curling tenderly across her delicate, bare skin-
Rabbit's hand recoiled in an instant at that shock of simple feeling to the tingling nerves in his fingers - fingers?! The 'bot gaped openly down at the fleshy hand that was there in place of the curved, sharp metal digits he was so used to seeing. A pause, the 'bot-turned-man not even breathing as he manipulated those slim fingers into movement. He curled his hand into a fist and immediately yelped at the sensation and vague realization, pitching backwards off the bed, dragging some of the blankets twisted around his body along with him.

"... What."
No, just what. This figure was decidedly shorter than the one she had fallen asleep with, and there was no sort of clockwork sound with those movements. What, who, and how.
Does she need to throw someone out that window over there.
no subject
"A-A-Allllllice?" a familiar voice whined up at the woman, that stutter still there despite the lack of bad programming or crossed wiring or whatever it had been that Peter had assumed had initially caused it. Something deeper then, subconscious.
The strange man on the floor of her bedroom, despite being decisively less mechanical and slightly shorter, still held some resemblance to the robot form Rabbit had been built with so many years previous. The same slender build, broad shoulders, skinny arms, bald head. Not to mention that twitching mouth, which was always so distinctly Rabbit.
"W-what-what-what's goin' on?"
no subject
"Well, I'm not going to throw you out the window for one."
She settled herself down on her stomach then, still peering down over the side at him. The staring she really couldn't help, head tilted with fingers curled over the edge, "You look.. squishy."
no subject
Squishy?!
Rabbit unfurled his fleshy fist and tentatively reached up with a shaky hand to his face, thin fingers skimming across his jaw, along the expanse of skin that were cheeks, not metal vents made for siphoning out that hot steam that his boiler created. The skin was smooth, faultless, soft and delicate under his touch. There were no bolts to keep his jaw in tact, no screws to hold him together.
Just flawless, untouched skin wrapped around a human skull.
Rabbit's mouth fell open, blue and green eyes going even wider as he stared helplessly up at Alyss.
"I'm squishy!!!"
And then he began to hyperventilate, breathing in too deeply, puffing out regular air, no boiler there for creating steam no matter how much he tried, simply lungs working overtime at that needless exertion.
no subject
She creeped closer to the edge, just so that she could stretch out and arm and easily reach Rabbit; a hand pressing down against his chest, "You are going to make yourself pass out if you do not breathe slower.
"Squishy, human."
Alyss was not prepared to deal with a panicky human, oh no. Those tended to not do so well around her, and vice versa. Dammit, she was going to try, though.
"... Do you know how to breathe?"
no subject
"I d-d-d-dunno…" But already that breathing had evened out. At least that had been easy enough to figure out, Rabbit's human body slipping into the automatic system seamlessly with little effort. Those eyes of his closed, the man turning silent briefly as he simply attempted to process what was going on, the feel of his new body, the strange heartbeat, the fullness in his chest.
It was terrifying.
"I'm..human?" Rabbit looked back up to her, frowning. "But I don't wanna be human! I-I-I-I don't even know ho-" That jaw of his went firm, normal mouth pressing into an unhappy line. "Th'Jon an' t-t-t-that stupid void o' his!" But the realization was a comforting one, the anxiety deescalating immediately. After all, if it was just a void-problem, it was easily reversible. Rabbit wouldn't stay stuck like this forever.
Thank Robot God.

Then she was right back to staring down at him, still wrapped up in the blankets he had fallen with, "You do look human, as far as I can tell with you down there," head tilting the other way, a finger tapping against her chin, "His void. It does stuff like this normally?"
Just taking him in.
no subject
And then drawing in a steadying breath, Rabbit was untangling himself from the blankets and moving to stand beside the bed, rising up without a sound to his feet. How quiet human joints were in comparison to his aged machinery! His gaze fell back down to his body, giving himself a curious examination in front of the woman, hands fluttering across his chest, unbuttoning his shirt enough to see that there was no core shining there.
"This is s-s-so weird…" A curious peek up at her. "How d-do I look?" Like himself?
no subject
With that she was sliding off the bed and leaning rather close, taking in the height difference up close. That was certainly different, standing on tip toes as she poked his cheek easily enough. Yep, deffinately human squishy.
"Still handsome, in a squishy way."
no subject
The human looked down at her, a bit strange of a feeling from this difference in height between them (why had he gotten shorter? dammit), but at those fingers upon his face, Rabbit's lips twitched again, a soft noise there deeply buried in the back of his throat, as his own hand was trailing upwards to press firmly against hers.
"This is...." A content, curious snort through his nose at that, no steam, just warm air. "Touchin' is...real nice. Never f-felt like this before. I mean, feeling, skin-on-s-skin kinda feel. It's..." What word was there even for this strange sensation he'd never quite experienced before? Sure, he had some vague sense of stimulation while a robot, certain pressure plates and tingling feelings in specific places. His hands, for one, had so little feeling within them, too thin and left incomplete as he'd only been a prototype initially. Something made for trial and error, something made to be decommissioned for scrap and salvageable pieces later.
However, his father had been too sentimental with the copper 'bot, no matter his attitude and glitches and the fact he wasn't anywhere near as advanced as this later brothers. But the lack of feeling or sensitivity in his fingers and hands had never been addressed. Because why would Rabbit suspect there was anything to change? Anything to address at all? He hadn't known feeling like that so why expect there was something else?
But this? Having nerves and suddenly being thrust into the world of the sensation of touch? It was honestly a bit overwhelming.
"I t-think I need to sit dow a little..." And a few careful, wobbly steps to the bed - wow, his feet were suddenly very light - before he was plopping down.
no subject
Alyss sat herself down beside Rabbit, once he had managed to sit, fingers curled underneath a chin as she couldn't help but brush her fingertips along the side of his face. It was very different from warm copper, not unpleasent, it was still him after all. Poor overwhelmed once-a-'bot, and she wasn't being all too helpful.
"Just take a moment."
no subject
The sense of touch. So simple, but so good.
When Alyss' fingers curled under his chin, brushing the pale skin there, the 'bot groaned out a reply, head twisting to the side to look at her. "Gonna n-need a lot o' moments at this rate..."
no subject
She traced along the underside of his jaw slowly then, biting part of her lower lip, "You certainly may, and I think you may also need to be introduced to silk."
Because silk.
no subject
What the hell did that have to do with anything? Alyss, what were you up to?
no subject
Finally lifting her hand away, resting both hands upon her lap with such a sweet smile, "There are reasons some people pay such a price to have clothing made out of it after all, Rabbit. Not just for how it looks, either."
no subject
"Yeah? Yer kinda g-gettin' me all curious now..." But really, why had she stopped touching him, that wasn't nice, what was going on?
no subject
"We'll find some silk later."
Hello Rabbit, lips were meeting lips in a very soft brushing of a kiss.
no subject
This combined with that soft hair tickling down his chest was even better than those first initial touches. Oh Robot Lord he was in heaven, wasn't he?
no subject
She let the kiss linger, smiling a little into it even, before giving his lower lip the gentlest of bites that accompanied a bit of a tug when her head lifted. That mischief was rather clear in her eyes.
"Feeling a little better yet, Rabbit?"
no subject
But then his bi-colored eyes were opening to fully take in the gorgeous sight above him, a smirk sharpening across that mouth at the recognition of that mischief behind her gaze. Really, Alyss. Was there anything about you that wasn't so positively perfect?
Fingers danced over her shoulder, brushing some of the hair from her face, delighting in the softness and texture. "So m-much better." The panic of this experience had certainly dissolved in the light of Alyss' darling, exploring touches, the 'bot-turned-human finding himself more and more intrigued at the prospect of being a human being for a few days or so.
If it was all going to be like this, it wouldn't be too bad at all.
no subject
Clearly, she's not been able to not touch for long.
no subject
A beat, fingers skimming across her collarbone. "Yer s-s-somethin' real special. Don't care if I'm a robut, d-don't care if I'm a human either." Alyss simply just cared for him. For his who. It seemed like such a normal concept to understand, something so easy to live by, but the automatons had been face-to-face against that very concept for the last hundred-some years. The only real exception had been family, of course, but the rest of the world?
All too eager to gawk and stare and prod at the singing robots, to satisfy their curiosity, and then simply move on.
Not that it had ever mattered much to Rabbit anyway, not like it had gotten under The Spine's plating, but the sweet fact that Alyss just didn't even concern herself with what he was was so odd. Wonderful and amazing and perfect, but odd.
It was the kind of odd Rabbit could handle though. The man playfully wrapped one of his human fingers around in her hair gently, momentarily fascinated in how easy life was when things couldn't get trapped in your joints, smiling up at her.
"Interestin' d-d-don't seem t' cover all of it. But it's a good start."
no subject
Leaning down, she kissed the end of Rabbit's nose, "I don't see any reason why I should, you're you either way." One thing that had come with her existance was living away from people, only exposed to any who had managed to make it to the center of the Abyss. Those never lasted long, soon enough turned into monsterous creatures. Such creatures that kept her company, her own cat turned Chain. "That's what I care about."
At a sudden thought, Alyss moved and settled herself over Rabbit and sat straddled there at his hips, arms folded across his chest. Yes, better, she settled herself like that, pressing another kiss against his chin.
"Mm, either way you're still quite comfortable."
WARNING FOR SEX??????
So, needless to say, Alyss' test was coming back with all positive results, Rabbit reacting to every touch and kiss and pressure against his new tingling body with an accompanying noise of appreciation.
And even as dreamy and lost within his own world of new feeling, when the woman shifted atop of him, obviously tired of all these leaning over nonsense, the man's blue and green eyes snapped open, going wide.
At first, Rabbit couldn't quite put his finger on why this position felt so damn strange. Alyss had perched atop him on countless occasions before, her shapely legs on either side of his curved hips, the woman either curling up to rest so fully against the robot's warm chassis or for more playful interaction. But as a human, something felt different. The change in pressure, perhaps? Either way, the oddness of it all didn't distract the robot-poofed-human from the simple fact that it felt great. Amazing even. Enough just that wiggle of her hips shifting against his had his eyes squeezing shut and a startled gasp-turned-groan slipping through his teeth.
Oh. Being human was so weird, but fuck, Rabbit wasn't complaining anymore.
