The Walter 'Bot's Bedroom for
fabulae_victoriana
[OOC: A thread for all bedroom happenings and private threads for the boys and their friends/family, just to keep from royally spamming up the main comm as we already do so very well.
A semi-brief description of the room from Meygan's mind, castmates, hit me if you think otherwise:
One of the larger bedrooms in the house (considering it currently is containing five full-grown automatons and a normal human and an assortment of instruments and the like), with a large window at the back. The walls were covered in The Jon's special brand of artwork, doodles of the world in the way that he saw it, colorful swirls and unidentifiable shapes and other oddities that looked like they came straight out of his music. Looking at these artistic murals for too long tends to make visitors go just a little crazy, seeing and hearing things that weren't actually there, so it is generally advised to never stay too long! His brothers are either immune or just don't even notice the crazy anymore. Likely the second.
The floor, despite The Spine's best effort, is usually quite dirty, boots and socks and clothes and gloves and hats and hula hoops and just about everything else littered around the place. If one The Jon was messy, two was just complete chaos. There was just no taming that mess.
Currently, the six inhabitants of the room share, two ye olde Victorian-style bunk beds. The Spine and Rabbit take one, while Hatchy, the two The Jons, and Michael take the other. Hatchworth has the bottom, which leaves Michael squished between both Jons on the top bunk. No doubt they tumble headfirst out of that precarious sleeping space quite often. Luckily for The Jons', they have thick brassy heads and likely won't even awaken from the fall.
Considering they are doing their damned best to keep up with busking and their father is on the hunt to find them real venues to perform, their musical instrument selection no doubt takes up a very large amount of the free space available there.
I think I'll try to update a list inside of this thread to keep up with what they've actually managed to acquire. Nice to keep an inventory on these things!
AS FOR NOW, use this thread as you see fit. Throw whatever and whomever you like in.

...Is this a pointless post? Probably. But I'll spam the fuck out of it, so. PURPOSE SERVED.

Alyss nibbled at one of the mozzarella sticks left, attention drifting towards the dancers when the music begain to play in some curiousity. It was quite the colorful display, each dressed in long flowing garments made to more or less float along behind them with every movement.
It was pretty.
no subject
Please be over soon...
no subject
Twirling colors could only keep her attention for so long, really. She quickly got bored of some of her own little colorful parties, really.
no subject
"Ya shore? Ya d-don't wanna watch more or finish more o' yer food? I can wait." Just because his interest had dwindled didn't mean Alyss had to get up and leave so immediately. Rabbit was trying his hardest to keep himself together.
no subject
"I can only watch so much of people twirling around in colorful clothing, Rabbit dear," and her tone was still rather cheerful, tapping the end of his nose next, "and I've eaten enough."
no subject
Rabbit pulled out some handful of bills from one of his pockets, staring at it briefly before he just threw down whatever amount he'd had - enjoy the generous tip from the robot who doesn't handle his finances very well - and then took Alyss' hand in his and guided her out of the establishment, tipping his hat towards the doorman who was quick to get the door for the cute pair.
"T' th' park?"
no subject
"To the park-"
Out the door, a flower she had broken from its stem was tucked rather neatly and securely on the 'bots vest, just near a button, "You know, the only performance I've ever seen here to keep my attention has been you and your brothers." She'd stumbled upon their busking.
no subject
Rabbit grinned at the plant that was tucked so cutely into his vest, halting in their walk momentarily only to pluck one of those flowers out of Alyss' delicate hands to slide it above her ear, into her lovely hair, before they were off towards their destination. "Ya mean it? Ain't just s-sayin' it cause yer datin' th' lead singer?"
no subject
Hear that, Rabbit? Got a girl who didn't know you were so talented and had hips that didn't lie.
no subject
"What would'ya s-say if I said I was maybe writin' a song or two 'bout you?" Rabbit was the love song guru. Was there every any doubt where he got his best inspiration from?
no subject
Alyss would likely never tire of their performances.
"That I'd love to hear them when you've finished."
no subject
As if Rabbit was all distressed that the topic of their lovely conversation was him alone and not about his brothers for the moment. He was honestly eating it up, beaming and playful and absolutely affectionate. One of his betters moods, though Alyss always did manage to bring that out of him, didn't she?
"My movements?" The 'bot leaned in with a sharper twist to his grin, squeezing her hand, pulling her a little closer. "Y-y-ya enjoy my movements?" Of course she meant his dancing, but how could his gear-driven mind not go into a more suggestive direction?
no subject
There was that lovely little gleam in her eyes at being pulled closer, and that was indeed her hand brushing against one of Rabbit's hips, simply because she could, public be damned.
"I enjoy them so very, very, much."
Dayum.
no subject
"L-l-let's g-get t' th' park an' finish off this date so we can g-get home. Gotta real strong cravin' for toast right 'bout now."
no subject
Alyss could keep up easily enough, as if he ever took steps quicker than she could manage she simply let herself be tugged alongg while not even touching the ground. An easy little trick, and it was amusing.
"I could certainly go for a bit of toast myself."
no subject
With the increased speed, it didn't take long at all for Rabbit and Alyss to find their favorite isolated piece of the park, nearby the duck pond that the copper 'bot so enjoyed frequenting, especially since no one else in the city ever seemed to go there.
When they arrived, Rabbit plopped in his usual spot, pulling the woman with him gently.
no subject
That, and she simply adored being close to him.
no subject
The 'bot grinned up fondly when his head hit the ground, up at the woman, keeping her close and tight with one arm wrapped around her waist, free hand reaching up to brush the hair from her face. "Cozy?"
no subject
Fingertips brushed over Rabbit's cheek, a sort of caress. How quickly she had grown so very fond of him.
no subject
"I c-couldn't agree more," came that reply, tone lifting just a little when her fingers touched his heated cheek, that sweet caress only making Rabbit release a steamy sigh of contentment.
no subject
Even moments like these were amongst her favorites with the copper 'bot. Sometimes just being with him was enough; listening to his inner workings and feeling his warmth. It brought an odd sort of comfort she enjoyed.
no subject
But sometimes, every now and then, he didn't feel quiet so twitchy and engulfed by the quiet when alone with Alyss. Sometimes it was comfortable and nice. Like now, with her fingers dancing across his face, his neck, his chest. Peeking an optic open at her, his own grip around her waist loosening enough that he could run fingers lightly down her spine.
no subject
"I don'tt think I've ever been this content to stay in one place."
no subject
He really wouldn't like to her to move at this moment in time. "I think I feel th' same way, B-b-been a real long time since anyone's made me feel this good." A blink before both optics, green and blue, were staring up into her own glowing gaze. "Didn't t-think I was capable o' it anymore really, but ya proved me wrong." A delicate pause, fingers still grazing across her. "S-s-sometimes I think this has gotta be a dream."
no subject
Her hand lifted from his chest, rest near his jaw as her thumb brushed along the metal slowly, "This is far better than any of my dreams," If she dreamed at all, darkness and madness all she had ever known, along with lonliness for the longest of times, "and it feels terribly real to me.
"As do you."
