[Museboxin'] What are we doing I want to get off this plane-
It was one of those days in the Walter Manor when the humans - both Walters and otherwise - seemed far too preoccupied with their work in the lab to keep tabs on their automatons. So after loading up The Jon with a tub full of markers, half-used crayons, and stubbly colored pencils in his room, the humans had no doubt assumed that most of the shenanigans in the house had been headed off, leaving the rest of the robots to make their own fun.
But leaving Rabbit unattended today? Well, let's just say that a bored Rabbit was quite the dangerous thing to leave laying around.
Which was precisely why the 'bot didn't reappear inside of the Manor until late evening, out far later than he'd ever been allowed on his own before, a bushy mustache affixed above his upper lip and arms wrapped suspiciously around himself as he attempted to sneak in without notice. Though those creaking joints and rattling gears of his never did give the 'bot very much stealth...

More than one? Of course the one in her hand was lifted and set in one hand, stroking along it's head in a soundless sort of coo. It was cute, and despite how terrifying Bunny could be she liked cute things.
Like ducklings.

When the woman would open her eyes, she'd find Rabbit still kneeling at her feet, unusual vest hanging open from his crooked shoulders, copper palms carefully cradling three other tiny ducklings, the small things nibbling cutely at the tips of his metal fingers, making the tiniest of excited quacks at finally being out of that hiding spot near the 'bot's warm chest.
"Cute, huh? I wasn't g-g-gonna keep 'em, but th' lake is just real cold tonight an' their ma wasn't back yet an' I didn't wanna leave 'em all alone in th' dark-..." Oh, that smirk fell into a soft, robot pout. Don't make him put them back, Bunny.

Those other ducklings were getting a look over, a finger rested just at her chin. It was too late to walk back down to the duckpond, too dark to check out Rabbit's story, so what else was there to do? With one duckling in hand she moved from the chair and stepped around Rabbit, tapping the back of his head for him to follow her.

Tearing that off and stuffing it into his pocket, Rabbit was quick to rise up on creaky knees and follow obediently after the woman, not quite certain what Bunny had on her mind but hoping it would allow him to keep and help the poor ducklings at least until morning.

She looked back towards Rabbit, fingers drumming a little against the box. Go find a shirt of something else soft and warm to tuck into this.

"Thanks, M-M-M-Miss Bunny!" And setting the box at his feet when that physical contact was broken, the 'bot would be scampering away loudly to go grab one of The Spine's shirts for his new friends. He wouldn't miss it at all, right?

Bunny scooped the duckling from her pocket and knelt by the box since it was left her, placing it down with it's siblings. By the time Rabbit returned he'd likely find all of those ducklings crowded around the one hand she had in the box for pettings. Cute little things, really.

"Thanks f-f-for not tellin'. I'll be shore t' get 'em out real early. Right after th' sun comes up." It wasn't as if he was going to sleep at all tonight anyway. "Sorry if I kept ya up or anythin', but we'll be good now. Ya can g-go-go sleep." Already snuggling those ducklings in with the shirt, the sweet things content to nestle in and sleep for the night now.

He was in enough trouble already, more or less.
Shrugging, tapping her wrist- It wasn't so late for me, I still had some work to finish. Matter Management Mistress had some paperwork and things to it, most likely.

Shifting to sit on the ground beside the box of nestling ducklings, Rabbit hunched in close to keep a protective, watchful eye over the fluffy, delicate creatures. "If ya s-say so." It was true that the automaton didn't quite care to understand the intimate details of the woman's position in his family, but he knew he kept Bunny busy and that it was terribly important.

No one else would likely be coming by to disturb Rabbit and those ducklings.
