Rabbit & Alyss' Bedroom (of love)

Welcome to the room of organized chaos.
Alyss and Rabbit share one of the larger rooms in the Victorian-style Walter house - being the oldest son it is obviously the robot's right to take the second-best room in the house - on the second floor, right next to Peter's room.
The room itself never looks quite as nice as depicted in the picture because Rabbit is a slightly messy individual and Alyss doesn't mind his untidiness in the slightest. Which means there is no one to really clean it. Though most of their clothes make it to be neatly hung away in the closet, there will always be at least one or two various pairs of boots and gloves left laying around, a belt here or there, and the woman's collection of stuffed animals all over.
..And really, knowing them, that chandelier probably makes as an impromptu hanger at various points as well.
There is a nice window seat for Alyss to sit in and enjoy the sunshine on days with good weather or simply to listen to Rabbit yap on forever like he does, and Lil' Bunny's cardboard box bed is perched there usually too.
Both the robot and his lady can usually be found outside of their room, enjoying the family's company or simply out on the town, but they can be caught there in the mornings or late evenings generally, unless Rabbit is being a grump and sneaking off to hide elsewhere for a few hours or Alyss has disappeared from the grounds completely to do her own thing.
Current Pet Count: Mocha Road, Lil' Bunny, TomatoSoup, Macaroni, Cheese, BananaBread, TunaMelt, Captain QuackBeard, Fuzzybuttkins, and Bob.

Alyss would just have to wait and see how borogove developed.
"You may be able to teach him some tricks, and you might want to hang on," as soon as Rabbit settled the creature rose up easily, as if neither of them were on it's back. He was still, just to make sure they wouldn't fall once he was off the ground. That large head even turned to peer back at its passengers, ears perked.

"Tricks," the 'bot repeated with an excited grin over at the creature peeking back at him. The gears of his mind already turning at the thought, compiling a list of tricks they'd have to practice.
"Havin' a d-d-dog is gonna be a real blast, huh?"
no subject
The borogove took a few steps without prompt, slow and careful just to see how his passengers would hold; if they were sitting fine. It was just a few steps, testingly.
"He'll get going when you say you're ready Rabbit, I think."

And, of course, the copper automaton's recent death had to add a bit to the final persuasion. How could Pappy say no to his boy after he'd thought he'd lost him for good?
There was a scruffing pet to that mane of fur before Rabbit was urging the creature forward. "Let's g-g-go! Yip yip! Tally ho! Onward! T' adventure!"
no subject
Alyss held onto the fur tighter, giving a bit of a laugh, "I told you he could hold the both of us without any problem!" because really, the creature was going on rather smoothly and going in the first direction that he didn't smell too many people in at the moment.

Rabbit was holding on with both hands now, both encased around Alyss who he had leaned forward to rest his head against for a better view as well. And really, how could he not laugh along with her. "G-guess ya were right! Lookit him go!"
no subject
At the moment the borogove was happily trotting along, tail swishing about and a fun little bounce to it's stepping along. Head held low as that nose went to work in sniffing about; familiarizing itself with the smells it would be living around. All of this was so very new to him, of course, having spent most of the time in the marsh untill now-
Even then, the time in the marsh wasn't all that long.

"We'll j-j-just hafta get him a collar." A pause, glancing downwards. "I dunno, an' maybe a saddle or somethin'."
no subject
Alyss hummed a little thoughtfully, stroking down part of the neck she could easily reach. "We might be able to get a collar at one of those shops that sell all of those things made of leather," or ask for a collar to be made, "Do they make saddles for dogs?"
no subject
Gross. How dull.
"But we m-manage just fine without a saddle," a soft nudge of his face against hers at that. "R-r-right? Ain't goin' anywhere?"
no subject
"We do," it brought a smile, along with a quick little kiss to his cheek, "Not going anywhere at all." Even as borogove picked up the pace from catching a particular interesting scent, heading off around a street corner with them
no subject
And of course she wasn't going anywhere, because between her own grip, there was also Rabbit's powerful arounds keeping the woman from being yanked or shook around too much, though the beast did have quite the steady gait considering his passengers.
"Caught a n-n-nice scent there, boy?"
no subject
She wasn't at all worried about falling off herself; she could float after all, it was Rabbit she was more worried about. With how smoothly the borogove moved, perhaps it wasn't that big of a worry as it had been when they first started off, "He's not been in the city before now."
He looked to be heading towards the park in a round about way.
no subject
But for now, he was just pleased to sit back and enjoy the ride, amused at how the people they did accidentally stumble upon seemed too damn surprised at the odd sight to properly react.
"Yeah? Where d-d-did ya find him, anyway?"
no subject
"Out in the marshlands," as if she'd just stepped out to one of the shops in town, "He came up to me while I was out there and about to come back." Rabbit, she goes out to a place known to be somewhat dangerous and filled with the walking dead and who knows what else, and brought home a giant dog. "I couldn't leave him out there alone, and he's been such a sweetheart."
no subject
"What? Ya g-g-g-go out in that place?" Okay, so this was an awkward conversation to have on the back of a giant dog, but Rabbit's grin lessened in brightness by a fraction, trying to meet her gaze despite their placing. "It's d-dangerous out there..."
Yep, could be pouting, just a little bit.
no subject
Rabbit, what are these ladies.
Her head tilted, looking back at Rabbit, "It is also quite the beautiful place, so very green and full of life that isn't people," it was peaceful in a way, if you didn't stray in too deep to where the dead walked, "Along the edges it isn't that dangerous, unless there's an aligator or something near the water's edge, and it provides me the space I need to not hurt anyone when I leave the house."
no subject
Rabbit, of course, had been smart enough to skitter away when Alyss didn't exactly want him around, but that didn't mean he hadn't seen pieces here and there of her little fits as she flew from the house, rages and tantrums that nearly put his own to shame. Nearly. Rabbit still considered himself an expert, even if he didn't have control of himself for most of them. But at least in the respect, it seemed the pair of them were well fitted.
A glove palm untangled itself out of the creature's fur to wrap gently around Alyss' waist, affectionately keeping her close and safe and secure. Best to not scold or worry all things considering. She could take care of herself, as much as Rabbit liked to be there to do it for her, but it an hour or two out in the marsh seemed to quell some of those raging emotions? Why get in the way of that?
"J-just..." What? Be safe? Don't fall in? Get lost? "Just as l-long as ya make it back for dinner. It kinda g-g-goes fast with so many o' us there."
no subject
Alyss offered him a smile, hand lifting to rest against his with a curling of fingers, "I haven't been late once, have I?" and she'd try to never be, a sort of promise in her voice not spoken.
All the while Mocha Road was snuffling about, having leaped the fence that surrounded the park. The borogove moved quickly and smoothly when it wanted.

Being a Walter was never boring.
